The Loyalty Programme (hereinafter referred to as the “Programme”) is offered by Sea Harvest
These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the participation in the Loyalty Programme offered by Sea Harvest, including agents and divisions (hereinafter referred to as the “Promoter”) through a web browser application (hereinafter referred to as the “Application”). By participating in the Programme, you (hereinafter referred to as the “Participant”) agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with any of the Terms, please refrain from participating in the Programme.
These terms and conditions outline how you can earn points using our loyalty programme and furthermore how to use your points to claim rewards.
To take part in our loyalty programme, all terms and conditions must be accepted by the Participant, including any subsequent updates.
By registering and taking part in our loyalty programme, you are taken to have read and agreed to these terms.
Programme Eligibility:
The Programme is open to individuals who are residents of South Africa and are at least 18 years old at the time of participation. Participants must be in South Africa to claim programme benefits.
Employees, agents, and representatives of the Promoter, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
Programme Registration:
Participants must register for the Programme through the Application by providing accurate and complete information.
Participants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and are solely liable for any activities performed using their account.
We do not request nor process any credit card or financial information. We collect only the essential information required for the provisioning of our programme and the services. By agreeing to these terms, you give us permission to send you SMS and/or email messages for legitimate purposes such as OTP, enquiries, marketing and promotions.

Programme Mechanics & Point Accumulation
The Programme allows Participants to have an opportunity to earn loyalty points (“Seabucks”) based on purchases of participating Sea Harvest products with a valid QR code and as stocked by participating retailers in South Africa.
Seabucks earned may be redeemed for rewards and benefits offered, subject to availability and the specific redemption terms communicated through the Programme and using the Application.
The Promoter reserves the right to modify the Programme mechanics, Point earning options, redemption options, and rewards without prior notice.

Seabucks may be accumulated through various activities as will be made available and communicated on the Sea Harvest application from time to time, including but not limited to purchases, referrals, social media engagement, completing surveys, rating & reviewing products and interacting with the Application as specified by the Promoter.
To earn Seabucks, follow these steps:
Purchase Sea Harvest Products from retailers in South Africa who stock a participating Sea Harvest Product with a valid QR code, including online and in-store purchases. Consumers can purchase from any retailer but can only redeem coupons from participating Checkers & Pick n Pay outlets.
All Sea Harvest products with valid QR codes, which are stocked by retailers in South Africa, are eligible for a chance to earn points.
To redeem your purchase and earn Seabucks, follow these steps:
Scan the QR code on the box of the product you purchased.
Log onto the Sea Harvest application https://seaharvest.smartpack.global/productrange and register your profile if not yet registered, upload a copy of your original receipt by taking a photo and uploading it on the Sea Harvest application when prompted.
To redeem your Seabucks, follow these steps:
Go to your Seabucks on the app.
Select “Redeem your Seabucks”.
To find available coupons, check how many Seabucks you have. The number of Seabucks you have will determine which coupons or prizes are available to you to redeem. You are able to view all available coupons and the number of Seabucks you have will allow you to redeem a coupon that requires a certain amount of Seabucks.
Click “Redeem” on the coupon or prize of your choice and confirm your redemption. Your confirmation of redemption will be presented, and you will receive your coupon code or prize redemption instruction via SMS on the cell phone number you used to register your profile.
To get your reward on your next purchase, show your coupon code to the retailer till point. Limitations may apply and only one coupon code per transaction is allowed. Each product in our inventory is assigned a specific Seabucks value, which can be viewed by accessing the relevant information on our app.
The suppliers reserve the right to modify and update the values as they deem necessary. The Promoter reserves the right to impose limits on the number of Seabucks that can be earned through specific activities or during a certain time period. The relevant information will be revised from time to time, updated and included in the terms and conditions and/or application within the specified timeframes in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. It is your responsibility to review the terms and conditions as well as any notifications that have been provided.
The ownership of all reward vouchers belongs to the Promoter until they are redeemed by the winners.
Rewards/Discounts/Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable, and non-divisible and cannot be sold or resold.
Without limiting the Promoter’s rights with respect to anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions, neither the Promoter nor any redeeming outlet shall be under any obligation to enquire whether the person submitting any voucher code is the person entitled to make the claim, regardless of how that person first obtained that voucher code.
Point Expiration and Termination:
The Promoter reserves the right to terminate the Programme, in whole or in part, with or without notice. In the event of Programme termination, Participants may be given a grace period to redeem their accumulated Points, after which the Seabucks will become void.
If a Participant elects to opt out of the programme, all Seabucks acquired will be forfeited. If the Participant chooses to rejoin the programme after electing to opt out, Seabucks previously acquired may not be redeemed.
Programme Communication:
The Promoter may communicate with Participants regarding the Programme, including but not limited to updates, offers, promotions, and account-related information, through the contact details provided during registration.
Participants may request opt-out of receiving promotional communications by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the communication received or by contacting the Promoter’s support helpdesk with a request.
Personal Information
By signing up to our loyalty program, we will need to collect, hold, use, disclose information about you in connection with your account, points and rewards. Information will include certain personal information and transaction information relating to points earned and requests for rewards.
We will use this information for purposes of our loyalty program to provide and market rewards and services to you, including the products and services of our service providers and other third parties.
We may disclose this information, only as necessary to others in connection to our loyalty program including to:
Our service providers and agents engaged for the purpose of the administration provision of services relating to our loyalty program and the promotion of the program and available rewards.
Reward providers, which includes third parties engaged for the purposes of performing other services in connection with our loyalty program including the provision of a reward.
We treat all personal information with care and in accordance with our privacy policy.
We may also use or disclose your personal information to let you know about offers and news relating to our loyalty program electronically via email and SMS communications.
Programme Abuse and Misconduct:
Participants must not engage in any fraudulent activities, misuse the Programme, or attempt to manipulate Point accumulation or redemption.
The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify Participants found to be engaging in abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorised activities, and take appropriate legal action if necessary. We may monitor app usage for various reasons, including but not limited to fraud protection, risk assessment, investigation, customer support, and compliance with our Terms of Service and applicable laws. This may contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of app performance.
The promoter is committed to ensuring the highest level of security for all systems, networks, and personal data under its control.
Limitation of Liability:
The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising out of or in connection with the Programme, including but not limited to any errors, interruptions, technical issues, or unauthorised access to Participant accounts and/or transactions pertaining to purchases and coupon redemption.
Participants agree to indemnify and hold the Promoter and its suppliers, partners and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from their participation in the Programme or violation of these Terms. You hereby indemnify the promoter and its suppliers, partners and affiliates from any loss, damages, liability, claim or demand due to or arising out of your use of the sites or breach by you of these terms and conditions. Inaccuracies in prize descriptions or illustrations, non-availability, loss, interception, late receipt, or damage of any prize claim, promotional reward vouchers, discount prizes, vouchers, prizes, or notifications are not the responsibility of the Promoter or its agents. No prize representation, warranty, condition, or guarantee is provided except for those implied by statute and which the Promoter cannot exclude.
The Promoter is not responsible for taxes, fees, charges, or other costs associated with transactions, including but not limited to purchases coupon redemption, except as specifically stated in these Terms and Conditions. Participants are responsible for all expenses, injuries, losses, and damages resulting from their participation in the Promotion, any linked activity, or the receipt, use, or misuse of any awarded prize. Participants are responsible for their own network charges.
Force Majeure
The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure or delay in the performance of its obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, labour disputes, civil unrest, natural disasters, government restrictions, power outages, or any other event beyond its reasonable control. Force Majeure Events suspend the Promoter’s responsibilities under these Terms. If a Force Majeure Event causes a delay or failure, the Promoter is not accountable.
The Promoter is not obligated to compensate Participants for Force Majeure Event losses or inconveniences. The Promoter will notify Participants via the Application or other reasonable means of any Force Majeure Event and its expected duration on the Programme. Participants accept this Force Majeure Clause and its potential effects by participating in the Programme.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. The Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If a provision in these Terms and Conditions is illegal, void, or unenforceable, it will only be ineffective to that extent without affecting the validity of the remaining provisions.
Any disagreements between you and us regarding these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by a relevant South African court.
Please note that if you breach any of our Terms and Conditions, we may cancel your access to our Sites without notice.
