Oven Bake
Preheat the oven to 220ºC. Place fish cakes evenly on a baking tray in the centre of the oven and bake for 15 minutes in a thermofan oven and 20 minutes in a conventional oven. Turn fish cakes over halfway through cooking. Coating should be golden and crisp once cooked.
Pan Fry
Heat a little oil in a medium-sized frying pan, over moderate heat. Place fish in a pan and fry for ± 4 minutes on each side, turning once. Remove from the pan and drain paper towel or serviette before serving. The crumb should be crisp and golden brown in colour once cooked.
